live CD can't partition

Hi,
I'm trying to install Arch. Everything goes great up until the "prepare hard drive". It seems nothing works. I used cfdisk to partition my hard drive then tried to select mount points but installer can't initialize swap or ext3 (I set those up in advance as the right type). Auto prepare fails too because it "can't partition". and i'm running into those problems on two computers. Could it be my disk's corrupted?

Try it with usb LIVE, if you can:

But you can check its corruption with md5 after downloading. Do you have other hard disk to try out on that ?
