[Solved] Arch won't boot! :(

I did some configuring with arch and I probably updated from the wrong repositroy, because now when I try to boot into arch, the booting process stops in this message:

/bin/bash: error while loading shared libraries: libncursesw.so.5: wrong ELF class: ELFCLASS64

If I understand that correctly, it complains about something that is x86_64. My arch is i686 >:).

(I didn't build anything from source)

E: I remember updating ncurses or something from the europe main mirror and I as soon as I updated, I couldn't do anything without arch complaining the same as above without "/bin/bash" at the beginning.

I found a further error when searching around with the dynamically linked files with ubuntu live cd:

/media/disk/lib/libncursesw.so.5.7: ELF 64-bit LSB shared object, x86-64, version 1 (SYSV), dynamically linked, not stripped

I can't remove it because the error comes as soon as I boot (on failsafe too).

I just updated the system

Well, okay it won't boot. But can you boot into another liveCD, mount the directories and chroot into Arch?

Well if you can do that then you should be able to do as was instructed above, and remove the file in question and/or update to the one you need.

I would chroot into the Arch install, and then run a

pacman -Syy ncurses

probably after selecting a "safe" mirror just to be on the safe side.
