thanks mate. don't know how i missed your post earlier. anyway though you used the molokai scheme as the base, you still put them together pretty well, so i have to give credit to where it is due. especially, the cyan colors in the .Xdefaults are ace. And thanks for visiting my blog. it's just an amateurish attempt.
