[SOLVED]Hal refuse to stop: FAIL. Using quick-init

When i try to restart hal to see if my policy configuration file are ok (for automount), i have this issue:

:: Stopping Hardware Abstraction Layer [FAIL]
:: Starting Hardware Abstraction Layer [FAIL]

i'm using kdemod 4 and quickinit-scripts... Is there a solution? i intend to not restart dbus, but ONLY hal..thanks

Are you certain that HAL doesn't work anyway?  I always get these messages but HAL works fine.  I have no clue how to even begin troubleshooting this one.

If it fails there should be an error message somewhere on the logs that may give a clue to why it fails.

I'm using quick-init, so I have not to add in /etc/rc.con hal module...and now i can stop it and also, at shutdown, i have no error!
