I installed Samba and attempted at configuring it. When trying to connect to a share from my Windows computer it says:
\\OIB\SharedDocs is not accessible. You might not have permission to use this network resource. Contact the administrator of this server to find out if you have access permissions.
The network path was not found.
This is my smb.conf:

Im no expert in samba, but there is alot of information missing in the smb.conf file. You should check the samba wiki entry here: http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Samba
Im not really sure of everiithing thats missing but at least you are missin the workplace and hsotname entries in smb.conf

Well that's because I thought using SWAT would be easier, and SWAT appears to rewrite your smb.conf in a somewhat different manner, except every tutorial on configuring samba has their smb.conf written like that.

As I said im no expert in samba. I use webmin to manage a smb domain controler runing in arch. I would recommend installing webmin and working with it instead of swat.
