How to tell whether I installed i686 or x86-64?

I've installed Arch on several machines in the last few months. I'm have trouble with flash in Firefox and my reading tells me that the problem could be different depending upon which i686 or x86-84 that I installed.

How can I tell from the running system which it was that I installed?

Thanks in advance and  sorry for the elementary question.

Type:

arch are you i686 or x86-64

:-)

or just:

arch

It is short for 'architecture'.
