Compaq Presario CQ60-112LA: Problems with the wireless

Hello!!! big_smile:D:D:D:D

I send my greetings to the community.

I want to write 2 things before to tell you about my problem:

1. I'm sorry for my English, It isn't so good.
2. I'm Newbie in Arch Linux but not in GNU/Linux (I'm not an expert big_smile) and I've read the wiki and Forum Etiquette (http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Forum_Etiquette).

I installed Arch Linux in my laptop, it's a Compaq Presario CQ60-112LA and It had installed Madriva Linux but I wanted to have more control on my computer and I decided to install

I followed the wiki's instructions and I could install Arch Linux correctly but I have a problem. I can connect to Internet by wireless, I haven't got wired access and I followed this instructions:

(http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Wir … _available)

I could bring up the interface

#ifconfig wlan0 up
#iwconfig wlan0 essid "BTHome..." key ABCDCD
dhcpcd wlan0
dhcpcd: version X.X.X starting (I don't remember the real version, In this moment I'm sending this post from Mandrivas' Livecd)
dhcpcd: wlan0: waiting for carrier
dhcpcd: timed out

I tried to connect manually with static ip but I couldn't. I don't know what can I do. I can't continue without Internet, because I can't update my system and I can't install Kde4 big_smile..

I did this one:

#modprobe -r ath5k
modprobe ath_pci

But I didn't find any wireless interface, In Mandriva ath_pci works better than ath5k module, but I can't up ath_pci module..

Thank you very much for your help... And I apologized again for my english...
