Hi!
I'd really love to watch these lectures by Richard Feynman:
http://research.microsoft.com/apps/tools/tuva/
but they're (of course) encoded with silverlight. I tried two ways to install silverlight, installing it with Pacman ( pacman -S moonlight - it's in community) and installing the plugin right into firefox from here: http://go-mono.com/moonlight/#instructions
Both didn't work...I still get this warning saying "your browser is not supported for silverlight"
Has anyone yet made this work?
Thanks in advance, Hauke

we had problems compiling silverigh2.0 support in moolight. i didn't care to much about it and didn't search for a fix
Give what you have. To someone, it may be better than you dare to think.

I'm running Moonlight 1.9.5 (supposed to be compatible with 2.0, works with some other stuff) and it won't even let me try to open it. When I use UserAgent Switcher it loads Moonlight but it just hangs at "Loading Data" If you wanna try it for yourself (it's at 1.9.6 now): http://go-mono.com/moonlight-preview/ and you'll need this: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/59

Hmkay..i see, so guess i'll have to wait till someone...converts...the lectures... Oh, by the way, i tried this on Windows7 (i got a evaluation copy running inside virtual box) and it does what you describe (stop at "loading data") in firefox but works - slow and choppy but it works - in IE8.
