Should gecko be a separate package?

I was wondering if it is possible to make a package with gecko rendering engine. That is, take the mozilla package and strip all the bloat which is not necessary for frontends like epiphany. Could this package be shared between Mozilla Seamonkey and Mozilla Firefox?

What do you think? Does this idea go with the default arch linux philosophy?

Re: Should gecko be a separate package?

I am afraid this is not possible.

Our initial plans was to move firefox out of /opt into /usr and use the gtkmozembed.so libraries from firefox, but this gives two problems:
- epiphany is the only browser willing to compile with firefox
- find as you type- features don't work anymore
