[solved] TeamSpeak-Problem: undefined symbol: initPAnsiStrings

Hi! Since i last time made a -Syu i get this error when i try to start TeamSpeak (it's with both versions, the one from aur and the one i can download from goteamspeak.com)

/opt/teamspeak/TeamSpeak.bin: symbol lookup error: /opt/teamspeak/TeamSpeak.bin: undefined symbol: initPAnsiStrings

and for the other one

/home/hauke/TeamSpeak/TeamSpeak.bin: symbol lookup error: /home/hauke/TeamSpeak/TeamSpeak.bin: undefined symbol: initPAnsiStrings

Which is exactly the same... wink
I already traced this down [1] using google to a gtk-error, but which version of which package will i have to install to make TS work again? Or how can i check this?

Thanks in advance, Hauke

Re: [solved] TeamSpeak-Problem: undefined symbol: initPAnsiStrings

The teamspeak client comes with libborqt-6.9-qt2.3.so which is linked with the old libjpeg.

Take the old libjpeg package libjpeg-6b-6-i686.pkg.tar.gz either from your package cache or from the Rollback Machine, extract libjpeg.so.62.0.0 into the teamspeak directory, where TeamSpeak.bin and the other libs are. Then either rename it to libjpeg.so.62 or place a symlink, so it can be found.

You can do ldd -r programname, and maybe this write out which package symbol is missing from a package, and you can find the desired lib.

Thanks, that did it! (Downloading the lib and renaming it) - TS works again!

Same problem on a 64 bit system, couldn't get it to work. Same problem as before. I tried installing "libjpeg6" and "bin32-teamspeak2"  from AUR
Copied the "libjpeg.so.62" to the ts directory too, but that didn't help neither.
Any idea?

Re: [solved] TeamSpeak-Problem: undefined symbol: initPAnsiStrings

Can someone help me get the old libjpeg package libjpeg-6b-6-i686.pkg.tar.gz please? I can't find it anywhere. Can someone provide a download of it??
I'm having the same TS issues (undefined symbol: initPAnsiStrings).
