Is updating Fedora slow?

Hey,
I hope this is the right forum to ask.
Last week I tried to install Fedora 11, the system was super fast but updating the system was unbelievably slow, super slow.
Really, I waited more than two hours and no progess is shown although my connection is fast.
Is updating a Fedora system usually slow?
