What icon set is that for your conky?

A brand new conkyrc for me. I added a weather script, some color, and I changed the conky font to "Lucida Console" to match my Terminal. I also thought that I would try devilspie to embed my xfce4 Terminal.

* windowmanager: awesome wm
* console: urxvt + tmux
* visible apps: vim, tail, mutt

The lines in the background match the row-height of the visible font and are quite helpfull in vim for example.
The wallpaper colors are quite decent in order not to make the terminal fonts hard to read.

good one! glad to see tmux in  action. i moved away from screen to tmux half a year ago, and its pretty satisfying.

I came across the same problem but it isn't actually a bug (sort of):

http://conky.sourceforge.net/changelog.html

2009-05-09
    * Allow the use of '#' for comments within text area (can be escaped with '\#')

the only problem is when I try to escape it with \ it does nothing. So it seems to be a bug after all just in a different place. (If anyone has success with the escaping please do post).

they instantly closed my bug saying people need the ability to put comments in after TEXT, who does that?  i should reopen saying that \# doesn't work as it should...

fumbles on IRC mentioned a patch to make \# work; but he couldn't find it.  for now i'm doing the following workaround

CPU: ^fg(${execi 3600 echo "#909090"})${cpu}^fg()...

pretty hackish, but it works.

Yes I've noticed they closed it right away...you should definitely re-open it or start a new one... good luck

Picture is from DeviantArt (search for "Daisy"). Conky is 'inspired' (sounds nicer than 'ripped off') by Ghost1227.
And the Music is, obviously, by De La Soul...
