I have ust tried to upgrade from kernel 2.6.30-5 to kernel 2.6.30.1-1 and during the mkinitcpio HOOKs part it failed (also in the fallback) with a message that keymapfilesystems could not be found. I don't know much about this crap, but after reading the forums I decided to look at my file /etc/mkinitcpio.conf and found that there is the following entry for HOOKS:
HOOKS="base udev autodetect pata scsi sata usbinput keymapfilesystems"
Running
mkinitcpio -H keymap
or
mkinitcpio -H filesystems
works, but
mkinitcpio -H keymapfilesystems
reports
/sbin/mkinitcpio: line 93: /lib/initcpio/install/keymapfilesystems: No such file
Is this just my problem? Do I need to add a space in my HOOKS entry of /etc/mkinitcpio.conf so that keymapfilesystems becomes keymap and then filesystems ??
Thanks in advance for any advice,

Thanks, arkham! I'll give this a try and report back.

EDIT: That worked just fine, arkham! Everything is running well.
Thanks again,
