Hi,
I just installed arch and everything worked great. I updated pacman (pacman -Sy) and it told me all 3 repositories are up to date. I then went on to install a few packages but when I got into installing xorg pacman could find xorg, right right after asking me if I'm sure I want to install it told me it can't find the packages on the server. I checked my mirrors file and my mirror's on there. Anyone has any idea what could be wrong?

Perhaps you should try uncommenting some other mirrors around you for a fallback in /etc/pacman.d/mirrorlist

I'd try some other mirrors, or wait a few hours for your mirrors to sync again and see if that helps.

Tried commenting another nearby mirror (of course nearby for me's Italy since i'm Israeli) and it did not help. I guess i'll try again in a few hours and post back my results
Edit: Still no luck

You can check the mirror status here:

It's nearly 20 hours since the Italian mirrors last synced.

It seems the Israeli extra last synced 10 hours ago. So you are saying I just need to wait till the mirrors sync? How long would that take?

I think nobody can tell you how long it will take. Just use some other mirrors like the greek ftp.ntua.gr or whichever you like.

Tried the next day, it worked.
