[Solved] Problem installing Compiz

When I try to

# pacman -S compiz-fusion

it won't install the packages and I get a whole load of 'mesa: /usr/share/man/man3/...' errors.
This is a new install of Arch and I'd added very little from the base install.  I have added the nvidia proprietary driver package so maybe that is the cause of these errors.
Anyways, does anyone knows how to fix it?

Re: [Solved] Problem installing Compiz

Can you post all the errors you're getting?
Also, I thought compiz-fusion + compiz was getting merged into compiz. http://www.compiz.org/

Re: [Solved] Problem installing Compiz

Yeah, I did read the Wiki before I started.
I've forced pacman to install it.
I'm pretty sure the problem was with mesa.
Now I've got a new problem (great).
I have no window decorations after I invoke fusion-icon and my GNOME terminal is up in the top left corner of the screen and I can't move it.  This is what it says:

[n00b@asrock ~]$ fusion-icon
 * Detected Session: gnome
 * Searching for installed applications...
 * NVIDIA on Xorg detected, exporting: __GL_YIELD=NOTHING
 * Using the GTK Interface
 * Decorator "" is invalid.
 * Setting decorator to Emerald ("emerald --replace")
 * Starting Compiz
 ... executing: compiz --replace --sm-disable --ignore-desktop-hints ccp
 * Setting window manager to Metacity
 * Setting window manager to Compiz
 ... executing: compiz --replace --sm-disable --ignore-desktop-hints ccp
 * Setting decorator to Emerald ("emerald --replace")
 * Setting window manager to Metacity
 * Setting window manager to Compiz
 ... executing: compiz --replace --sm-disable --ignore-desktop-hints ccp

Re: [Solved] Problem installing Compiz

Fixed it.
I reinstalled Arch from scratch.
The compiz installation problem I had was with mesa and when I was messing around with it, not knowing what I was doing.
The borderless compiz windows had to do with my CCSM settings being completely blank.
I'm running GNOME. Once I'd invoked System > Preferences > CompizConfig Settings Manager, I activated Effects > Window Decoration and the window decorations came up.  Then I activated Window Management > Move Window and I could then move windows as per normal.
It just seems strange to me that everything in CCSM was completely blank, ie. all boxes were unchecked so I had to manually tick them just to get my window decorations and move windows.  Now I've got the spinning cube and wobbly windows so it seems Compiz is working fine.
