Total Number of Votes in User's Statistics

Could the AUR have a statistic that says how many votes for each package in total a user has?

Just to make sure that I understand the question, do you mean that if user Bob has 100 votes for "foo", 20 for "bar" and 50 for "baz", Bob's user page should say that Bob has 170 votes (or less if he voted for his own packages)?

How would that work if a package with lots of votes is adopted by someone else?

I doubt this would get implemented because it's non-KISS and doesn't really add anything useful, but I generally like the idea of some basic feedback system on the AUR to distinguish relatively trusted users.

There are a lot of interesting algorithms for ranking.  One of my favorites is h-index.  Sadly, h-index is not very kind to me, since I only have three packages.

Just for fun, here's the highest ranked.  Note that there are some 2465-ish people with packages on the AUR, and only 37 have an h-index of 15 or more.

I don't think so it's a general usecase to see e.g. How many votes you reached, but you can write a patch of course, and hope this will be accepted

Most of that list is TUs or devs who will have a lot of packages in [community] (which you are definitely counting - otherwise my h-index is 2).  Now if only I had not adopted out a lot of my packages...

Anyway, I don't like stats like this as someone could instantly get an h-index of ~42 by just adopting the orphans with the highest number of votes.  It encourages maintaining packages for the wrong reason.
