1. The "unread posts" isn't accurate. Keeps forums/threads marked unread until you log out. (or at least for a long time) (can this be fixed ? )

This seems to bother some people, and I'd guess we should look into it.  The way I browse the arch forums doesn't really have this problem though:
* Click "show new posts since last visit"
* Middle click everything I want to read, going through all posts
* Click "mark as read"
* Read posts

Yes, someone on IRC reminded me this issue bothers me a lot :

          punbb that marks a thread as read after its read hmm

Maybe I'll try the above way of browsing.

isn't it possible to change date format with punbb? When I look date in this formate, I must always think if the second number is the month or the day... I'm  too much used to day-month-year I guess... smile

I know this is a old topic, but real poll would be really nice big_smile and this forum should have it.

Polls cause too many TGNs. If you want a polling service feel free to set one up externally.

You know why was the delete post function removed? That was really useful if I wanted to get rid of inefficient posts.

Why should you be able to delete posts? When abused, it makes threads very hard to read.  The easy solution is to not make "inefficient posts".

I wouldn't say it's an easy solution rather it's the best solution. Misunderstandings can happen. I can agree that it could get abused, so I'll leave it at that. Thanks for answering.
