Taters, can I has your xmonad.hs? Especially the Layout.Gaps part, please.

Layout.Gaps is a depreciated way of keeping the windows from going over xmobar/dzen. I've been trying to get Layout.Spacing to work (which would put spacing between windows), but it won't load (I think the aur version of xmonad-contribs might be outdated.) I'll try manually installing it later. I'll upload my config once I have it all working. (In the screenshot, all of the windows are actually floating/not tiled)

Edit: apparently the darcs package has it. I'll do that instead... Edit (second time) Wee, darcs version doesn't want to install. Its trying very hard to ignore the fact that I have X11 installed.

Taters: You'll probably need the darcs version of X11 to get xmonad-contrib-darcs to compile.

Nice conky, but it shows the upload and download speeds like this: 55.0 KiB kb/s
You could remove "kb/s" from .conkyrc or change:

${upspeed eth0} kb/s
${downspeed eth0} kb/s

to:

${upspeedf eth0} kb/s
${downspeedf eth0} kb/s

And the script under the calendar shows when I landed at home 40 days ago. An idea would be to change it to show time until, for example, New Year or someones birthday. If you need help finding a good icons for them and editing the script, let me know.

Yes, I noticed that I was kind of lazy to change it though tongue I hope you don't mind me using your conky config it's just that I think that it really is great! big_smile

I think upstream should update xmonad-contrib independently of xmonad...
