Acer Aspire 6935g, no many news

Hello,
It's quite long that Acer Aspire 6935G is out, but not much known about running linux. I spent long time searching on webpages to know some clue.... Still no much improvements yet.
I'm running Arch in a manageable way, but I miss something:

o) the brightness control, I've tried many of the possibilties gathered from web informations, without any positive result.
Found an explaination in this bug report

o) hotkeys (Fn + KEY) aren't even seen by xev or other testing programs.

o) multimedia pad, recognized as Macbook touchpad, partially works by in/decreasing volume (but tapping on the ends of the slider), mute start/stop are OK for playing capability. Other keys like fast/slow forward/backward aren't there.

o) sd card reader partially works. Only after been started by Vista, then rebooting Arch it will be available.

o) internal microphone isn't seen by any chance.

o) audio works, but seems that sound is flat and coming from the notebook's right side. None of "tuba" "Dolby" effects are listened sad

I found some mentioning at Kernel.org about my laptop model, but I didn't get which quirk or solution either to apply. I still believe that some more improvement will happen, I'm waiting since kernel 2.6.27 to see some changing, even 2.6.27 wasn't good enough to start with, because NIC weren't working yet.

Any other user of this PC is invited to espress is own experiences to shed a better light on this model.

EDIT
I found some more info. Now my doubt is about Arch kernel version (I just did pacman update) and what other fixes I should try.
BTW touchpad doesn't work fully. I think I miss some step to make the two fingers things works.

F
