[SOLVED] Secret of Monkey Island Special Edition
I finally got this game running under the latest version of wine (1.1.26) in STEAM but I don't have any sound. I've set the sound output to ALSA in winecfg and 44100 Hz but still no sound 
. Any ideas?

No idea about wine, but is there anything that prevents you from running it in scummvm?

Well, this is the new HD version of Monkey Island with voices. So that doesn't run in scummvm.

Yes the sound does work out of wine. I played The Dig on STEAM and that had sound.

wow.. it works with wine? i hope they release the boxes in europe soon... i cant stand STEAM

Well, I couldn't launch The Dig directly from STEAM but I start the game but running the executable for the game in the STEAM directory.

Got the sound working by to setting the hardware acceleration (winecfg;audio tab) to emulation.
