Hi,
where can I configure the taskbar behaviour in KDEmod 4.2.4?
I'm particularly interested in:
1.) seing ONLY the tasks of the current desktop
2.) seing EACH task on the current desktop
In KDE 3.5 I could configure these options in kcontrol:
Desktop > Taskbar
The options were called:
1.) Show windows from all desktops (deactivated)
2.) Group similar tasks (Never)
Where can I configure this in KDEmod 4?

In KDE4, right click on the taskbar and select "Task Manager Settings" from the context menu. A window will open that contains the desired settings.

So at this point KDEmod 4 seems to be different from KDE 4, as I don't have the option "Task Manager Settings".
If I right click on the taskbar, I only get:
- Add Widgets
- Add Panel
- Lock Widgets
- Panel Settings
- Remove this Panel
The "Panel Settings" don't allow me to configure the options I mentioned.
For the grouping problem I've found a workaround:
right click on the task > "Do not allow this program to be grouped"
For the other problem (seeing only the tasks of the current desktop) I have no idea.
Does anyone have a solution for KDEmod 4 regarding this problem?

Hi cyclohexan,
here is a more detailed description:
1) Close enough windows that there is some unused space on the right side in the task bar.
2) Right click on the unused part of the task bar and you should see the following context menu:
3) Clicking on "Task Manager Settings" should then bring you to this dialog:
I guess this should also work in KDEmod.

Thank you very much, you saved my day.
1) Close enough windows that there is some unused space on the right side in the task bar.
That was my problem. I didn't think that there's a difference between clicking at the little space between the task widgets and the upper panel border or clicking on a lower point in an empty part of the panel.
Edit:
However I'm missing the miniature desktops in the Panel. On your screenshot the 4 little rectangles left from the Konsole task widget called bash. I didn't find them with "Add Widgets...". How can I get them?

The widget is called "Pager". It should be in the "Add widgets" window.
