i have no sound on my computer i dont know why because pulseaudio is working

I'm going to ask the very simple questions real quick...

Are your speakers on?
Is alsa installed?
Does alsamixer have the volume on?

Did it ever worked or it just stopped working after an update? and also what did you put as startup DAEMON in the /etc/rc.conf file?

My sound recently stopped working after a hard reboot.  I was using pulseaudio at the time.  Everything looked fine, but no sound output.  I uninstalled pulse and went back to straight ALSA and it worked fine.

Sorry I can't be too much help as my suggestion is just "uninstall what doesn't work", but I've been happy with the resolution so far

Undo the steps you took to get Pulse audio working first (see http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/PulseAudio).  It depends on how you installed it, but for me this was the process: Remove the pulseaudio package and possibly also padevchooser paman paprefs pavucontrol and pavumeter.

If pulseaudio is listed in your daemons array in rc.conf then remove it.

Fix /etc/asound.conf (for me I just renamed it to /etc/asound.conf.bk) or ~/.asoundrc if that's what you used during setup.

You can remove yourself from the pulseaudio related groups and remove the groups themselves from the system (pulse-access and pulse-rt), although this is not required to get ALSA to work standalone, it's probably a good idea.

Then get ALSA working http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/ALSA

when i try to remove pulseaudio with this command pacman -R pulseaudio i get this message

Those are all packages for use with pulse, so you can safely remove them all.  To avoid dependency errors, just remove them at the same time as pulse, i.e. pacman -R pulseaudio padevchooser ...

If you intend to continue using Arch, I suggest you check out the Pacman wiki page and/or it's manpage (access by typing "man pacman" in a terminal). Arch doesn't make assumptions about how you want to set up your system, but that also means trying to understand how things work is a requirement for maintaining it.

The Arch community is a helpful and friendly one, but you should learn to read around more before asking. Most questions have been asked and answered before.
