plan9port-hg: install fails, no config.mk file

(Please note that I posted this message earlier, on the AUR page for this package. Sorry for the duplication.)

I'm having trouble installing this through Yaourt. What am I doing wrong?
(Or has the name of the config.mk file perhaps been changed to something else?...

Thanks
David

I've tried it, the same by me.

If it's so important for you, you can rebuild the pkgbuild, and ask the TUs to orphan this package, if you have a working one, because the last action was in 2009. Januar.

Re: plan9port-hg: install fails, no config.mk file

Thanks djszapi: I don't know if it's important or not. I never tried to rebuild a pkgbuild before, but perhaps this could be a good introduction for me. (Or I may just leave it alone and use the older version...)

Re: plan9port-hg: install fails, no config.mk file

With regards to the cvs build, you could always go to http://swtch.com/cgi-bin/info.cgi?file= … n9port.tgz and get the latest date.tgz/md5sum and change the PKGBUILD to reflect this, ie

$ ls -l plan9port.tgz
lrwxr-xr-x  1 rsc  users  22 Jul 30 00:02 plan9port.tgz -> plan9port-20090730.tgz
$ sha1sum plan9port.tgz
fcae18d6d946d13c3b86951b2917163edfbaf5ee    plan9port.tgz
$ md5sum plan9port.tgz
887a3c4a987afe20584c93e7fb11b369    plan9port.tgz

If you use a local repo then changing the PKGBUILD with date pull/md5sum avoids any warnings when running pacman -Syu.
The other option, as mentioned in the comments for this package, is to remove the md5sum to get the latest cvs pull (which also avoids warnings).
