[SOLVED] Can't boot with lvm2 over luks

Hello.

So I installed arch linux (lvm2 over luks) using this guide

http://www.pindarsign.de/webblog/?p=767

and everything went smooth.

But when I try to boot the newly installed system after init initialization I get the message

inittab not found

But I mounted the /etc lv using the arch live cd and the file is in there so it seems that the problem is with mounting /etc.

Any help?

Thanks.

Re: [SOLVED] Can't boot with lvm2 over luks

Turns out the problem was that I was using a separated logical volume only for /etc.

Read the instalation guide and it' not possible to boot in such a setup.

Fixed!
