speed up enlightment or tips and tricks

hello!

i tested enlightment and imo it's a great wm. but imo it's a little bit smooth. not so fast like *box. there are some tricks to speeed it up? can some1 help me?

Hmm, I use the CVS version of E16 and it's every bit as fast as Openbox was for me..

Then again I disable everything but the pager and I don't use esd.

Don't know about Openbox, but E16 from the repos seems just fine to me.
