problems with wifi b43

Hi.

I am experiencing extrange wifi dissconections, I think this could be kernel related, as I have tested by changing from networkmanager to wicd, tested also with dhpcd and dhclient, tested with kernel 2.6.30 and 2.6.29 and also tested with      b43-firmware 4.150.10.5-1 and broadcom-wl 5.10.91.9-2 from aur.

I have installed arch a few months ago, and it was working without any problem, and just about two or three weeks ago the problems had begun.

In the first time I was using networkmanager, but when the problems begun I begun to notice a lot of dissconections and reconnections, until it claimed for WPA password endlessly. Then the one way of reconnect again was to stop networkmanager, unload b43, load again b43 and start again networkmanager.

Then changed to wicd, and worked better, but also had a similar problem, he don't asked for the password, but had disconnections and reconnections also.

And lastly It is almost unusable (seems to work a bit best with kernel 2.29-1), I had a  lot of packet drops and disconnections,ad my dmesg is being full of b43-phy0 ERROR: PHY transmission error

How I can help to debug and fix this?

Thanks

Re: problems with wifi b43

4312 works best with the broadcom-wl driver AFAIK. See the wiki for details.
