I've read that flash works in chromium now, but I can't get it working. I have chromium-snapshot installed from AUR, which says it was last updated today. Has anybody else been able to get flash working with it?

Did you start it with --enable-plugins?
Offline
yes I did, but flash still doesn't work

I used the PKGBUILD for the precompiled one, since I was on battery at the time and didn't want to compile.

I edited it to make it the latest release, which was 3.0.197.0~svn20090801r22243, at the time. Flash is working just fine for me.

Thanks elliott. I got it installed, but it won't let me start it. I posted the error in the AUR comments.
/usr/lib/chromium-browser/chromium-browser: error while loading shared libraries: libasound.so.2: wrong ELF class: ELFCLASS64

Are you running it on a 64-bit system? Mine is a 32-bit system.
Offline
yes, I'm on 64 bit. I see there is a comment in AUR that says to download the 32bit flash and put it in chromium's plugin folder. I'll give that a try.
Also, do you know which is the best one to use from aur? There's the "chromium-browser" and "chromium-snapshot". What's the difference?

I used chromium-browser for one of my installs and chromium-snapshot for another, I don't really notice a difference. I used chromium-browser at first because it had more votes on AUR, but I used chromium-snapshot for the install I did on another system today since it was recently updated.
They seem to work equally well, Flash works fine in both of them.
