Kiten lets you lookup kanji, it features it's own input engine, but the website says it is also possible to use any XIM server.
As this is the first package I submit, I don't kown if it satiesfies all guidelines for archpackages. So please comment about it.
This is the PKGBUILD file:
pkgname=kiten
pkgver=1.2
pkgrel=1
pkgdesc="A KDE japanese reference tool"
url="http://katzbrown.com/kiten"
license="GPL"
depends=(kdelibs qt)
makedepends=(kdelibs qt)
source=(http://katzbrown.com/kiten/Download/secret/$pkgname-$pkgver.tar.gz)
md5sums=(c6fc8211810a5c5afea412dbd3cc095f)build() {
cd $startdir/src/$pkgname-$pkgver
./configure --prefix=/usr
make || return 1
make DESTDIR=$startdir/pkg install
}
Just use makepkg to build the package. And pacman -A to install it.
