I don't make much use of Abiword, especially for printing, because my work requires me to use Word under Crossover. I have an ancient Crossover installation which I brought with me to Arch a couple of years ago. I do a pacman - Syu every day. I rebooted today for the first time in a week or so and have hit two major problems. The first is that Crossover failed - that is my problem and I mention it only for background. I switched to Abiword, which is now terminating with "Aborted" as soon as I try to print or even print preview a document (same both for my user and root. Is anyone else having the same problem please?

I find that compiling abiword locally produces a version which works. I guess it is a matter of compiling against a version of some library that has been updated.
