why the "Share Folder" canot work?

hi, all,
I want to use the  System->Adminstration->Shared Folders, it told me

Sharing services are not installed
You need to install at least either Samba or NFS in order to share your folders.

i have install the samba , why it told me i have not instll samba? what is the problem? how to fix it?


btw, is the archlinux have "system-config-samba "?

i have install samba, and i can share the folder by i motify the "/etc/samba/smb.conf".

but why  "System->Adminstration->Shared Folders" it donot work?

is it work at your archlinux?

There are issues with gnome system tools... maybe your problem is related.
