I think it's good idea to have topic that thanks to we can clean AUR.
Ok there's some rules.
1.If you wanna to please delete a package by TU you must be maintainer of package in AUR.
2.If packages are the same (they do the same thing's you can post them here).
3.Give some some reason why delete package in AUR ![]()
And now I want to please to delete xextproto in AUR we have xextproto-git and xextproto in extra repo ![]()
Please post here your sugestion about this topic ![]()

Regarding point 1: Maybe we should consider that.
Point 2: You can already do that. But IMHO you better should try to convince the current maintainer to take your enhancements (I guess you have some, but why else you may want to share the PKGBUILD).
Point 3: Follow aur-general, if you have packages in AUR. At least use the pipermail archives.
edit: I deleted, not delated xextproto from AUR.
