[SOLVED] Creating a live usb

I'm having the same problem as here: http://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?pid=578754.

The solution seems quite simple, but, since I'm using a Eee Pc without an optical drive,
I need to make a live usb.
Also, my only option to do that, is using WinXP.

Now, there's no problem making a pendrive bootable, but which Arch version can I use?
And is it as simple as copying the latest core-i686.img to the prepared usb-stick and go?

It won't work if you simply copy the .img file onto the usb stick; you need to write the .img file to the stick (much like burning an optical media). If you had access to a Linux box, you could simply use the dd command for this task, but since you require a solution that works on Windows, have a look at the second way here. The latest Arch release for your architecture should work fine.

Good luck with fixing the Arch installation on your netbook.

Fixed! 

The second option using Win32 Image Writer + .img didn't work,
but the first one, with UNetbootin + .iso did.
