just installed here using the net-install iso. timezone/utc set the correct time after using the ntp option.

btw... i think you should choose a simpler approach on the 'fs mountpoint' the way is now its a bit hard too understand

PXE: IMHO this is not possible out-of-the-box. Cause the underlying system is different against for ex. tpowa's archboot (which keep everything in initrd image, definetely an advantage for this case).
So it's neccassary to export the squashfs/aufs via something like nbd/vblade/iSCSI or similar.
I will look at this next weeks to find a solution or workflow...
Otherwise (cause AIF could be obtained as a package) installation is always possible from a PXE-booted Arch system.

actually, pxe-booting and better cooperation/integration-with-archboot-proposal was one of my post-2009.08 ideas.  (so much for the suprise effect )

Hmm it would be nice if you could PXE boot  a netbook from your Desktop Arch install.

But i am not expierenced with either PXE or devlopping it. For servers this would be nice , for netbooks /tops you could also use the usb image

We will remove soon the torrent files of 2009.08-RC1 from the tracker. So here is no need to seed or feed
them anymore...

Yes.. pacman 3.3, new aif(minor fixes) and mkinitcpio (better usb module support)

Hum, I already see 2009.08 in my local mirror. Is it officialy released? ^^
(download page doesn't have anything)

The release date is planned latest on 09. August 2009, but we like to
have pacman 3.3 on the snapshots if possible.
