laptop fingerprint sensor

hi all
i am trying to setup my fingerprint sensor, without success

You should have mentioned that . Would have spared us both the trouble.

I don't know how much of a dealbreaker it is for you if you wouldn't get it to work. Just know that those fingerprint sensors give a false feeling of security. You leave fingerprints all over your laptop, so it's not really difficult for someone who wants to obtain them and break your 'security'. I have one too, a password is still a more secure way to get in this piece of pseudo-securing electronics. Trust me.

i don't want to use it for security, it's just for fun

i read pam_fprint doc
there is a lot of security issues in actual developemnt status, but i like my hardware to work, even if i don't use it

actually, i compiled libfprint 0.1-pre2 from source, everything works (AUR/libfprint-nightly doesnt want to install)

on security side : you can enroll without any password, so if your enabled sudo with fingerprint, anybody can enroll and have access to sudo...)
i just enabled session login
