Wireless on HP nx7400 [SOLVED]

I need some help with getting wireless up and running on my HP nx7400 laptop. I think it needs the ipw3945 driver, but I dont know how to install it (or another that works).

I have a wired connection available also, if I need to access pacman or something else, but I can't get that working either. I believe it is an issue with setting a static IP correctly (or the settings, because I know my router/network has been configured to use static IP's to fix conflicts between Mac and PC's).

I have read the relevant sections of the Beginners Guide and Wireless Setup in the wiki, but after hours of trying, I'm still missing some (probably trivial) thing.

Can someone point me in the right direction?

Edit: A few more hours of messing about and I fixed it. I had to add the wlan0 interface to my rc.conf and make it use dchp. So long and thanks for all the fish!
