I used to use "pacman -Qu" to check for upgrades, but since the lastest pacman upgrade, it doesn't work any longer. When I type "pacman -Qu", I get nothing.
What happened? Am I missing something?

You should update your package list with `pacman -Sy' first.

I did that. Still no output when I enter "pacman -Qu".

Then maybe there are no packages to upgrade...
Explanation: The behavior of -Qu has changed. Instead of showing the same text as -Su, it looks more like the output of -Q (in that it simply lists the packages).

Hm, OK. Thanks! Maybe that was what confused me. I will have to wait until I have packages to upgrade to check that.
