Grub options

Hi.
My laptop has a backtrack installation besides the one of arch.

First i installed backtrack and then i installed arch: Of course, i can only boot to arch now since the installation does not include any other unix system that could be in the machine.

My question is: How can i now add an entry to my grub menu so i can boot the partition of the other system?

Another question is:
I think i understood it like this: Runlevel 3 is no GUI, so, whenever X fails to initialize or gives any problem, you can enter this mode (console only) as a recovery tool.

My question is: How can i add a grub entry to boot arch in runlevel 3?
In my daemons string i currently have gdm to init in the end: The good thing would be, if i dont choose to boot into runlevel 3, the system should start as usually and prompt me with the Gnome login screen.......

And finally: What is exactly the "Fallback" grub entry for?

Thanks!

Re: Grub options

You should follow the guide on the wiki with respect to run levels. Sounds like you shouldn't be using the daemon method for GDM.

Re: Grub options

Why install backtrack when you can install all applications that backtrack contains in Arch?
