The Mojo SDK was released today and I think it would be a good addition to the AUR. The deb can be found here: http://developer.palm.com/index.php?opt … &view=home

But it's not the most beautifull solution to get it from deb package, i've seen such a one, but i reimplemented it from scratch ![]()

@djszapi: do you mean you recreated the Mojo emulator (vmdk) or the whole SDK? Can you share it?
I've managed to get the emulator virtualbox part extracted to a partition and can chroot into it but I haven't managed to get it to boot yet.

Usually I get around these issues by running applications like this in virtual machines, but since I need virtualbox to run the emulator, I would have to install virtualbox within a virtualbox vm. My laptop can't handle that. I am trying to create a PGKBUILD but I am having little success. A post to the AUR would be much appreciated because I do want to start development and I don't want to have to install ubuntu on a seperate partition (or worse: switch to it altogether.)

I just wanted to bump this thread and second the request. Apparently it should be possible to make a PKGBUILD from the .deb using deb2targz but I haven't had the time to give it a go yet. This thread on the mojo forums implies that Palm are thinking about doing a source tarball, which would make things a bit easier, but in the meantime if there are any experienced Arch package builders kind enough to have a go, lesser mortals would be grateful ...
