Printer not working

Hi, I have a HP F370 printer, and inn generall it's not working. I have both cups and hp devicemanager. Most software hangs for a couple of minutes when i try to use printing. What could be the matter. Would it help to reinstall cups?

Re: Printer not working

Ok, even though it now works... After clicking Print in any application that uses KDE's priterdialog, I have to wait a minute or so for it to appear. Dealing with the GTK programs printerdialog, it comes stright away. It's also like that when I want to select a different printer in the list, then I have to wait another minute. And finally after hitting print, I have to wait another minute... any suggestions?

Re: Printer not working

After a quick google, I find some hints pointing to issues with network (printers) / currently unavaliable printers registered in CUPS.
maybe this? http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=179955

Re: Printer not working

I'm still suffering, are there anyone who knows what this might be. Or should I re-install arch?
