What Intel graphics do you have, Neheb?

not very good at hardware, but the specs say Intel Mobile GL40 Express and Intel GMA 4500M.

Though now the game gets an error when a map finishes loading.

Ah... yup

After upgraded to the latest version, x4500 now can run HoN with open source driver, but after finished loading map it crashed. Feel very sorry to the other 9 players

I'm just thinking when can I play it with Intel card.....
I have 3 invites, but have no way to play the game is really disappointing.

Doesn't it start for you or what? Because, with the latest Intel drivers and your graphics card it should run. For me it doesn't, because mt Intel 945gm does not support OpenGL 2.0 (yours should).

Seems I'm still having problem loading texture. I'm with X4500MHD and latest stable intel driver and mesa here. It supports OpenGL 2.0

For matters as such you should actually always consult the Beta forums at forums.heroesofnewerth.com. Although I have not really dug into the matter (since I will never be able to run HoN on my laptop), I have seen threads mentioning such issues as textures not loading.

Open source drivers - you mean Intel's, right? Anyways, check out the forums, maybe open a thread. Those guys might be able to fix your issues.

All HoN testers free to talk about HoN
All participants in the HoN beta test now have express permission from S2 Games to communicate and discuss Heroes of Newerth publicly. This includes forum discussions and talking to friends and family. Our embargo on media relating to HoN (videos, screenshots) is still in full effect and we'd kindly ask our testers not to disclose any game related media to those not actively in the Heroes of Newerh Beta.

I Understand that im new to these forums and I came here in hopes of getting a beta key for heroes of newerth. my brother and all of his friends recieved a cd key to play and i recieved a beta key which was already being used when they got theirs. so yeah they lucked out and i didnt =/ Ive been a big fan of dota for many many years now and I'd really like to be able to play HoN. please send me an extra CD key if you have one. Id appreciate it so very much =]

For me the updater starts, then hon restarts with the same version. When I log in again, the same procedure starts.

you dont need the latest version to play, i have the 1.38.0 and it works fine. and not 64!
try to reinstall or something

x86_64 and the latest client. You have to run it as root to patch if you use the AUR PKGBUILD. It patched up just fine for me....
