Hello,
I post here my quite annoying problem. I'd like to test archlinux before installing it for "real" so i installed VirtualBox, and i tried to boot the core and the ftp 2009.02 image. But, after booting it asks me wich archlinux it has to boot, i select livecd (without the legacy ide one) and then it started to boot, but:
if someone knows what's the problem....

Yes, I validate the md5sum of the iso and however, I tested with differents ISO...
I gonna try with a previous one the 2008 iso just to see what will happen...

Virtualbox is broken with recent kernels if your CPU does not support VT.

The same problem here, with older/newer vbox version, but with 2009.08 image.
We have tried it from Archlinux/Windows XP host too. We can't install Archlinux in virtualbox. Is it a bug, or works for you ?
I read this without any result:

Same here
virtualbox v 2.0.4.
archlinux netinstall 686 CD 2009.08
bugreport says its supposed to be "fixed in SVN/3.0.6" (VirtualBox)" but not closed or confirmed yet.

I've got a pre-release 3.0.5. version, after mention it on the vbox-dev mail list.
If anybody needs for it, please message me in private. I've got 32/64 linux version, and windows version too.
