Font issue

Hi,

I currently run sans font for everything on desktop, got new monitor and res went up to 1680 x 1050 now fonts look awful...

Other than increasing size are there any better fonts out there that would be more readable?

Re: Font issue

Inconsolata scales up nicely, I think....very readable from small to large. I patched dwm with xft support just so I could use that font smile

Re: Font issue

Are you using Fonts with LCD filter enabled?  If not follow the instructions in the link below on the wiki for a very noticeable difference.

The software required Windows XP or better, so I installed archlinux.

Be sure your X server is getting your new monitor DPI right:

dpi seems to be correct, fonts could be a little larger....
