kaffeine-1.0pre1 : could not open media source

Hi,

The new kaffeine using Qt4 has an issue when trying to play a video file or DVB-T:
"Could not open media source"

DVB-T channel scanning works perfectly. I guess there is a problem with the video output. Am I missing some dependency ?

Hello zebulon!

Is there more detailed error output or just this ? Did you tried to reinstall it ? Is this a problem with kaffeine only ? Did you tried with other driver/kernel/xorg ?

had the same error. but i fixed it after googling for a long time
install phonon-xine restart X/ reboot whatever!
