abs syncing late!

hello folks

i got a question, when you are going to upgrate you system, i upgrate almost everything from abs, but i always noted that when a package is updated in the repositories it take a day to be update in the abs tree ( the PKGBUILD) i was wondering if is a problem of the rsync server that i am using ( by the way is the official archlinux server rsync.archlinux.org ) there is a catch for it, some server that update the abs tree at the same time that the repositories?

sorry if the cuestion is alredy posted, but i looked for it and i didn't find it

thank in advance
sorry for my bad english.

Re: abs syncing late!

That is how abs works. It uses a daily tarball  of the repos' PKGBUILD. Depending on the timing, it can take up to a day for an update in the repo to appear in abs.  The PKGBUILDs can be obtain directly from svn but in your case, as you build all your packages yourself, the best way is just to wait the next day.
