ET:QW installation prolem

hi, I' m a noob..
have  32bit Arch and KDE4 (dvd-rom mounted)
i've downloaded a client from: ftp://ftp.idsoftware.com/idstuff/etqw/and try to install as they say..
everything is OK but at the end of installation it want me to insetr original dvd, I did it and nothing... so i pressed OK button and nothing...
so i tried ti put dvd in before i setup installation (someone told me to do that). So i seted it up and when i twanted me to insert dvd i just pressed OK button and nothing:-/
maybe i miss some library to dvd controll or something similar..

doesn't anybody know what to do?

You should be able to simply copy the necessary files from your dvd to your etqw directory.. You'll need the base and pb folders. Then you should be able to run your ./etqw and the game ought to work.

Why not use the AUR package?  This way it will be set up so the system recognizes it, it'll also give instructions on how to install the necessary pak files from the DVD.
