xulrunner-1.9.1.2-1 requires gcc-libs >=4.4.1.
I've some ignored pkgs in my pacman.conf and gcc-libs is one of them.
This dependancy doesn't allows me to install firefox 3.5.2, but forcing xulrunner-1.9.1.2 to be installed regardless of my old gcc-libs package (4.4.0) doesn't exhibits any issue.
Does anyone knows why xulrunner-1.9.1.2-1 depends on gcc-libs >=4.4.1 ?

Hello kokoko3k!
I think It's more relevant to ask from the author, maybe they knows the application better, but wait for answer here too.

I'm not 100% sure about this, but I believe that xulrunner's GCC dependency isn't about the runtime, but about the gecko-sdk. There are other packages than just Firefox that require xulrunner, and the GCC dependency may be necessary to keep consistency with other packages built against certain versions of GCC.

Maybe you're right skottish, i was just wondering which applications, because i cannot upgrade gcc-libs without going down to the kernel (and i cannot upgrade kernel because of some hw issues).
