Install usb.img to ext4 x86-64 HDD(operator error corrected)

Attempted install via usb.img failed at auto-partitioning HDD (30GB).

Install recognized only 1911MB for root.

Perhaps this occurs with ext4 formatted HDD?

Hello lilsirecho!

Which usb img did you try it, 2009-08 ? If yes, did the same problem exist earlier, with the older install image too? Don't you try it out if you reformat than partition to another filesystem ?

There was no problem with the ext4 install.

I made an oops when I selected the wrong drive to install into.

It was finally done correctly and is running now as an ext3 HDD in arch 2009.08 install.

So the post is history.............

You can mark it then as 'SOLVED', if you found the solution.
