[SOLVED] Radeon HD4850 Audio HDMI
Hi,
I can't get working audio over HDMI with RadeonHD drivers (catalyst works nice). I do everything as specified in wiki, I add both "HDMI" and "Audio" options in xorg,conf, but I still can't hear the sound.
Please help.

How did you try to get sound? What was the error output ? Which sound mode do you try to use (alsa,oss,pulseaudio) ?

Thanks for interest.
Issue is solved by installing xf86-video-radeonhd-git.
Solves many problems to me. I can fire X with only one DVI active, and then I can activate second using xrandr. I also can use audio over HDMI. And KDE4 compositing is enabled. Very nice driver.
