cryptsetup + nice bootsplash = possible?

Hi all!

I am planning a reinstall of Arch on my laptop in the next week or two and have a specific question regaring the password input dialog for cryptsetup/dm_crypt. When trying out Ubuntu a while back I noticed that said distro was able to pull up a nice little dialog right in the middle of the bootsplash image to unlock encrypted partitions (I don't remember if it was / or /home that I had encrypted at the time, though I think it was the latter), is this possible to accomplish with Arch too, that is *not* having to fall back to the console to provide a keyphrase? After ten years of Linux I am growing a little tired of watching that fugly boot process and would instead like to enjoy that crisp full resolution KMS-enabled boot experience that the kidz are all crazy about, only I need to deal with that darn dialog big_smile

So, has anyone around here any experience with trying to combine cryptsetup/hal/whatever and a graphical boot process? Was it tricky to pull off?
