You can download it from my brand new repo (easier if you add it to your pacman.conf, of course). The address is in my signature.
I added a desktop entry with associated icon to ganttproject, so you can simply start it from your KDE/GNOME/you-name-it. The program is installed in /opt and a simple script is put in /usr/bin to automate the java calling.
